Nelly had a recent run-in with the law where his tour bus was stopped and searched at a checkpoint in Texas, and now the rapper is voicing his disappointment and anger about the situation on Twitter. Police found 36 bags of heroin, 10lbs of marijuana, and a loaded .45 caliber handgun on the tour bus. One of Nelly’s associates owned up to the authorities that he was the one who was carrying the illegal items without Nelly nor the rest of the passengers’ knowledge. The culprit was ultimately arrested and Nelly and his team were let go.
He hit up his Twitter account late last night and let the people know how angry he was that this man who he considered to be a friend would put his life in jeopardy like that. He did wish him and his family the best though, given the fact that these are some serious charges that he’ll have to face.
