Body in Motion Fitness & Dance Studio: Offering Unique Workouts & Pole Classes

Summer is here and many people are looking for ways to get in shape. Unfortunately, most of us find exercise monotonous, or even boring. Enter Body In Motion Fitness & Dance Studio (B.I.M.) – delivering exercise options that are unique, interesting fun, and most importantly, effective.

Body In Motion Fitness & Dance Studio is not your average workout facility – not in the least. Body In Motion Fitness & Dance Studio offers Pole Dancing classes – a workout that strengthens your mind, body and spirit, and one that is never boring.

According to Shannon Williams, owner of Body In Motion Fitness & Dance Studio, pole dancing can burn up to 500 calories an hour while toning arms, abs, buttocks, and legs. In addition, it improves muscles, helps with weight loss, relieves stress, and builds self-esteem.

Body In Motion Fitness & Dance Studio offers different types of sessions, including beginner, intermediate and advanced sessions. Body in Motion Fitness & Dance Studio also offers Couples Night, which is designed to include mates in the Rhythmic Fitness Experience.

The Heat Magazine had the opportunity to speak with Shannon Williams about B.I.M. and what huge benefits her clients receive from the services offered by her company. Here’s what she had to say:

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Tell us about B.I.M.

SHANNON WILLIAMS OF B.I.M.: Body In Motion (B.I.M) Fitness & Dance Studio offers pole fitness classes, which strengthens the body, mind and spirit. Pole fitness allows clients to burn up to 500 calories an hour while toning arms, abdominal, buttocks, and legs. Pole fitness improves muscles, helps with weight loss, relieves stress, and builds self-esteem. B.I.M Fitness and Dance Studio’s dedication to you is that every class will be exciting and classy. Our entertainment and ambiance are the key elements to a consistent workout routine. Our goal is to keep you fit and motivated in making you look and feel better. We will provide monthly meal plans and check body weight monthly. Our staff will be there to discuss any concerns that you may have and work together to keep you fit and satisfied. Pole fitness is the ultimate full body workout. B.I.M instructors will teach erotic dance moves, floor work, pole tricks, and transitions. The workout will elongate and tone muscles while harnessing sexual energy to improve confidence and arouse libido.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: The pole dancing gets a lot of attention, I’m sure. How much of a buzz did you create once you opened?

SHANNON WILLIAMS OF B.I.M.: When opening there were lots of people who wanted to know what pole fitness was and did it help you lose weight. They also wanted to know if previous experience was required and if you had to be a professional dance to take the sessions.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What lead you to this business?

SHANNON WILLIAMS OF B.I.M.: Body In Motion Fitness & Dance Studio was created with every woman in mind, especially those who have been diagnosed with cancer. My best friend passed away from breast cancer. So I decided to do something that would help other women take some time out of their busy schedules to better their health and awareness of how important it is for them to take care of their body. I was not able to help my friend, but I would like to reach out to help others if I can. I understand how busy life can be for women with nourishing kids, husbands, relationships, and friends. Women tend to help everyone but themselves. That’s why pole fitness was incorporated into my fitness workout. It keeps the women interested in making a healthy lifestyle change.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: How important is fitness and what do you have to say to people who are trying to get in shape, particularly females?

SHANNON WILLIAMS OF B.I.M.: Being in shape is very important. It helps to promote longevity and improves the quality of life. I would like to tell individuals that pole fitness classes can improve your health, physically and mentally, increase metabolism, self-esteem, and balance hormones to have a better pregnancy experience. You will leave a Body In Motion pole fitness session feeling rejuvenated and there is never a dull moment.
