(HEAT EXCLUSIVE) Artist Ron Deuce: The Truth

“Music is my weapon, and Music is my peace.” – Ron Deuce

The music game is abuzz with talent, including some artists that have been in the game for a while, as well as newer artists. Ron Deuce is one of those artists that you almost cannot categorize.

With the handsome looks of a model and a smooth, flowing voice, Ron Deuce is poised to climb the charts, while making memorable impressions in every venue he visits.

With New Orleans roots and a West Coast upbringing, Ron Deuce brings the best of both worlds to the music industry. While he is still relatively young, he has already performed at countless venues, which means he can only bring more to the proverbial table. He’s not called “Ron Deuce The Truth” for nothing.

Ron Deuce is an artist to watch and a rising star for sure. The Heat Magazine recently caught up with him – you can check out his interview:

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Who is Ron Deuce?

RON DEUCE: Multiply peace, hustle, and ambition together and you get Ron Deuce. My goal in life is to make/find a better way of living for my family and myself.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Growing up, what artists influenced your music?

RON DEUCE: On my first trip to New York, I was influenced by my first personal meeting with artist P Diddy. Along with Jay-Z and Lil Wayne, who I grew up listening to in my New Orleans born mother’s car, many soul singing artists have helped me see that music is made from experiences and emotions.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: If you could work with any artist or artists, who would that be?

RON DEUCE: I would enjoy working with Jill Scott or Anthony Hamilton. All I need is for someone to do what I don’t do (which is singing), lol, and let me do what I do best!

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Do you find that your region has a lot of effect on your music? How so?

RON DEUCE: My music has always been based/influenced on my surroundings or in other words, where my life is at that point in time. It’s when someone in the Bay Area does something different that we get recognition.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Are you looking to get into any other areas of entertainment?

RON DEUCE: At this time, no. I’m more so perfecting my craft so I’m able to reach further heights, such as touring in each continent with DJ Erv performing live with me.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Where will see Ron Deuce in 5 years?

RON DEUCE: In five years, I’ll be performing at bigger venues. I had a dream I was accepting an award at who knows where. Could it have been the Grammy Awards? We shall see! Peace.

Ron Deuce can be booked by contacting L&R Records at 510. 225.9270. You can also check him out at http://deucethetruth.tumblr.com/ or on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/rondeuce. Follow him on Twitter at http://twitter.com/RealRonDeuce.
