SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! LIL’ SCRAPPY STOPPED BY TO ANSWER THE CALL FROM HIS FANS!

It was a very beautiful day outside. Sun was shinning, birds were singing, and the air was fresh. What more could happen to this day to make it better? I’ll tell you what! Lil’Scrappy coming by to share some love. The fans have been requesting, Lil Scrappy heard you, and The Heat responds!

From his beginning, when he was discovered by Lil Jon (BME Recordings), at a bar in Atlanta, GA, yeah a fight broke out that night, so the way the story is told, to the now signed artist of his own label, G’s Up Entertainment, Gru$tle Gang Entertainment, Lil’Scrappy, born Darryl Kevin Richardson II, has made a name for himself that he stands behind one’ hun-derd! Every since he released “Head Bussa”, which by the way was the theme for the 2004 Atlanta Braves, Lil Scrappy has been rolling. Even with time off, his fans showed continued support offering nothing less than love and respect to the rapper known as “The Prince of the South”.

Lil Scrappy’s debut album was “Bred 2 Live Born 2 Die” featuring artist as Yung Joc, Three 6 Mafia, Lil Jon, Young Buck, 50 Cent, Olivia, and Young Dro; which Lil John and 50 Cent produced the album. His single, “Money in the Bank”, peaked at #28 on Billboard’s Hot 100. In 2009 Lil Scrappy took to the big screen in his first studio film, “Just Another Day”. Scrappy plays a character named Jay, in a film that is a brutal reality of the rap music game.

Our stalker girl, Nik-O-Licious, doing what she does best, was finally able to lock the “super star” down for a chit chat to catch up with him and see what’s in store for his fans in the future. And ladies, he answered the questions: “Are you Single” and “Are you a brief, boxer, or bare man”? You don’t want to miss this one!

THE HEAT: So what’s happening Scrappy?
SCRAPPY: Ain’t nutin, just been smoking and choking! (we laugh hard)
THE HEAT: What’s been going on with Lil Scrappy aka “Prince of the South”?
SCRAPPY: Well Nik, I just put out my mixtape, “The Merlo Jonez EP”. You can find it all the mixtape websites. I have copies right now in the streets as well. I just been getting myself together and working on my new album coming out January 31, 2012. “Tha Gru$el”.
THE HEAT: “The Merlo Jonez EP has some bad artist on it like, Bun B, TK, CoCo Kiss, Twista, 2Chainz. Who can we look for that’s going to be on this one with you?
SCRAPPY: Well, we just getting started on it but so far, Kandi, Twister, 2Chain, I got a couple of my artist, Young Chu, Rolls Royce Rizzy, and that’s about it right now.
THE HEAT: That’s about it, that sounds like another hit already. So who produced the new CD?
SCRAPPY: John Poppy, “Hitman Beatz”.
THE HEAT: ATL has become the new Metropolis for music. What you have to say about all the new comers trying to come to ATL and take over the rap game?
SCRAPPY: I like some of’em. Some of’em I don’t like because they don’t have what I had. When I came in the game I respected a lot of OG’s, feel me. That’s because they teach you the way. And some of them weren’t cool, but most of them were. Some of the OG’s felt like what me and John was doing wasn’t rap. But me, I made rap out of the crumb-shit. I was able to open doors for Waka Flocka, Travis Porter, and some other artists. It’s like my shit always been real regardless. I just know some of’em cool cause they do give respect like Travis Porter and Waka, they always show love. I ain’t too much older than some of these nigga’s coming out now myself Nik. When I came out I made a name for myself that I can always live with forever, you feel me. When I came out, I came out hard and I didn’t stop. What I can say about the new artist is they made a lane for us shooting videos. We didn’t know we didn’t need a Hype Williams to go and shot a video. Now we know we can just go shoot our own video and submit it to MTV, BET or whoever! Yes, we’re independent but we’re still a label. It don’t matter anymore. We can survive without the MAN now and without them bills from people who really don’t know what the hell they doing anyway.
THE HEAT: Not only is ATL the booming industry for music, but movies as well. What do you have to say on this?
SCRAPPY: I just came from Tyler Perry studios. I’m doing hella shit. The movie I’m in “Just Another Day”, airs on BET all the time so y’all check it out if you haven’t. It stars Lil’Scrappy, Wood Harris, Jamie Hector, Ja Rule, Clifton Powell, Big Daddy Kane, Trick Daddy, Petey Pablo, Young Dre, and so many more. It’s a hell of a cast.
THE HEAT: Wow man, you doing the damn thing. So y’all looking for new talent over there or are you just holding it down with what’cha got?
SCRAPPY: We always looking for new talent. What I tell people is that they need to catch up with someone like my manager or someone at the label who works with new artist discovery. Those are the people who are really into stuff like that. Right now I’m into helping myself and the other artists on our label. And the other artists on the label concentrating on helping me and themselves. But let me say this, it doesn’t matter if you get sign with us or anybody else. You gotta do you. Just get your money together, however you got to go get it, do it. Then put yourself out cause ain’t nobody gonna do it like you. You know where you wanna go, ya’feel me. Cause if you don’t know where you want to go, you ain’t going nowhere anyway.
THE HEAT: That’s straight from the heart right there. So Scrappy, the ladies want to know, are you single?
SCRAPPY: Scrappy is single! The only thing Scrappy doing now is God, my daughter, and doing money.
THE HEAT: Another one the ladies want to know, is Scrappy a boxer, brief, or do you just go bare? (he smiles that handsome blush)
SCRAPPY: I’m a brief man but when I’m going to sleep…I go bare.
THE HEAT: Well the ladies gonna appreciate that information from you. We appreciate you taking this time out and answering the call of your fans that read The Heat online.
SCRAPPY: I preciate you Nik and The Heat for reaching out to me so that I could respond to my fans.

Well, you got it straight from the man himself. Lil Scrappy we already know nothing but the best is yet to come. Thanks for stopping by to chit chat with The Heat. We are surely looking out for “Tha Gru$el”, which is scheduled to hit the racks on January 31, 2012.

Much Love! One Love!
