A boy of six who has been missing since October has reportedly been murdered by the leader of a polygamous cult.
Little Jadon Higganbothan is feared to have been fatally shot allegedly by Peter Moses, the head of the Black Hebrews in North Carolina, during a wild rage.
The child’s mother Vania Sisk, who is a member of the group, is also claimed to have shot dead another woman during a separate bloody episode.
The allegations were made by a former member of the Black Hebrews who has left the group and has come forward to police.
She was one of nine adults and nine children who lived in a house in Durham, under control of 27-year-old Moses.
Speaking anonymously for fear of retribution, the ex-member recounted in chilling detail when Moses allegedly killed Jadon last October.
According to a search warrant obtained by ABC News, Moses ‘had grabbed a gun and began pacing angrily around the house’ then called the boy to the basement – the last time he was seen alive.
The informant apparently told police he then ‘heard loud music and the sound of a gunshot’.
Moses is alleged to have wrapped the child’s body in plastic and stuffed it in a suitcase and placed in the attic.
When the child’s remains began to smell they were taken out and disposed of, the warrant claims.
The incident involving Sisk was said to have happened when another member of the group tried to leave.
Cult leader Peter Moses and Antoinetta McKoy, missing after running away
Antoinetta McKoy, 28, ran away from the home and flagged down a passing motorists.
The warrant claims that when she got into the car two members of the Black Moses group took her out and reassured the driver that all was well.
Mother: Vania Sisk who is alleged to have shot dead one of the cult members
But minutes later they beat her up and, at Moses’ request, Sisk shot her dead, it is alleged.
The developments came as Miss McKoy’s sister, Dubose, revealed that she had known Moses at high school and had got in touch a year ago on Facebook.
The relationship allegedly turned sour last August however when he ‘smacked her in the mouth with the gun and he shot at her three times’.
Dubose said: ‘She was like, ‘You don’t understand about how it works, they kill people’ and that he was known for carrying guns and that everyone down there who was affiliated with him was afraid of him’.
Sisk has told police that she last saw her son on February 20th when she gave him to an acquaintance, but she has apparently changed the name of the person twice.
The Black Hebrews earlier this year moved to Colorado briefly to escape the police attention over Miss McKoy’s disappearance.
