The real magic began to happen when we hired a real African Gospel choir, orchestrated by Itunu Joe. After hearing their incredible harmonies, I knew I had to find other African musicians. That’s when Sola joined in, followed by two world-class horn players—James Brownfield (Trumpet) and Mike Smith (Saxophone)— who gave the song its final touch.” This unique blend of sounds – from Manchester and Liverpool’s Indie roots to the soulful energy of African Gospel – has created something truly groundbreaking.
