Actress Felicia Pearson took the screen by storm when she was cast in HBO’s brilliant drama, “The Wireâ€. Pearson played the part of a hit woman, “Snoopâ€, with a bone chilling accuracy and many believed, despite her criminal history, that she was destined for stardom.
30-year old Pearson was arrested early Thursday morning during a massive drug raid in Baltimore. According to Fox 4 News, Pearson was taken into custody with 30 others connected to a large scale federal heroin and marijuana operation.
The DEA had reportedly been investigating the operation for the past five months.
In past interviews, Pearson indicated that she had a rough childhood that included being a foster child while both of her parents were incarcerated. Pearson was convicted of second-degree murder in connection with the death of her friend, when she was only fourteen years old. She served six and a half years in prison for the killing.
Pearson had seemingly gotten her life on the right track and was running a youth drama organization called “Moving Mountainsâ€, in an effort to keep at-risk youth off the streets and out of trouble.
