A potent high alcohol drink endorsed by rapper Snoop Dogg is facing a campaign to get it withdrawn by 17 state attorneys who say it is encouraging binge drinking in young people.
In a letter to Pabst Brewing Co., the makers of Blast the attorney generals urged the company to stop marketing to young drinkers and halt production of the new malt beverage.
The colourful drink, which resembles soda in its colour and packaging, has almost three times the alcohol content of a can of beer at 12 per cent.
