Jay Jones is one of the most prolific, charismatic and well-rounded lyricists in the game. Artist, songwriter, amateur actor, and successful entrepreneur, there is not much this talent has not accomplished in his young life.
Hailing from Hollygrove, rap’s mecca of unique talent, Jay Jones’ roots are anything but humble. His father is one of the architects of the rap genre and the apple does not fall far from the tree. Growing up, Jay Jones was surrounded by amazing musical talent and it is apparent in his music. This award winning wordsmith is known regionally as a force to be reckoned with – and there are not many who dare challenge him. He’s had a successful solo career, but it’s been his affiliation with 0017th and Young Money that’s helped to get his brand out to the world. 2015 and 2016 were extraordinary years for Jay Jones, with 2017 expected to be another banner year.
He is putting the finishing touches on his EP “Dey Know” and currently in the process of releasing several in-studio visuals, with the first being the “Bad & Boujee Freestyle”.
