According to Rap Up Wiz, real name Cameron Thomazwas charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of drugparaphernalia and maintaining a place to sell marijuana. He was releasedon $300,000 bond.
Nine others were also arrested and charged with the same offenses.
Wiz has been enjoying lots of success recently after being named MTV’s Hottest Breakthrough Artist Of 2010.
His new single “Black and Yellow” is getting lots of spins across the country.
It’s unclear how this arrest will affect the rest of his “Waken Baken” tour. He has shows scheduled in Winston-Salem, NC, Norfolk,VA, New York, NY and Clifton Park, NY over the next week.’
