Rapper/actress Teyana Taylor was recently involved in a physical altercation on the set of the western “Gang of Roses 2”. Taylor got into a scrap with the director, and he’s taken the step of filing charges against her.
“Teyana Taylor has a history of violence,” director Jean Claude LaMarre explained. “And after discussing it with my family, I decided to file the charges. We have statements from over twenty crew members who witnessed her charge and violently attacked me. I was going to leave it all alone because at the end of the day she’s only 20 years old, but the truth is this young lady has a real anger problem that needs to be dealt with. I had no choice but to file charges.”
LaMarre is correct about her history. Back in April, Taylor was accused of attacking a woman for speaking ill about Chris Brown.
In his statement about filing police charges, LaMarre gave his account of what went down. He says that Teyana began complaining of a toothache, and claimed it was so bad she couldn’t film. LaMarre then asked her to leave, but she refused. At that point, he began yelling, and that’s when she ‘came at him like a spider monkey’. She was pulled off of him and restrained by members of the production crew. At that point, she reportedly broke free and started scrapping with the crew.
“That is when she began to kick camera equipment and destroy property on set,” LaMarre adds. “In her fit of rage, she then walked to my car and kicked my vehicle door and dented it. There were tons of eyewitnesses on set.”
Who do you think is in the wrong here, Teyana or the director?
