R. Kelly and Sony Music are reportedly parting ways amid a wave of distressing allegations against the R&B singer.
Kelly has been accused of multiple offenses of sexual misconduct and of controlling the lives of multiple women. He has denied the allegations.
The artist, 52, became part of the Sony label when the company acquired Jive, the label he was signed under, during the mid-2000s. Kelly has been under the Sony subsidiary brand RCA Records since 2012.
