MEMPHIS, TN – A Memphis man is facing charges after allegedly locking his girlfriend and her daughter inside a hotel room during an argument over food.
According to the Memphis Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call on Wednesday, March 5, regarding a disturbance at a local hotel. The female victim told police that her boyfriend, Michael Lisk, became irate when her daughter ate his alfredo sauce.
Authorities say Lisk escalated the situation by physically pulling his girlfriend off the bed and preventing both victims from leaving the room, repeatedly blocking and closing the door.
The victims managed to call 911, and officers took Lisk into custody. He is now facing charges of domestic assault and false imprisonment.
