McDonald’s manager shot when order was messed up

Michael Wilks obviously doesn’t like it when people mess with his food.  Last week Mr. Wilks arrived at a McDonalds drive-thru in Canton, Mississippi, and ordered two Filet-o-Fish sandwiches.  Shortly after receiving his food, Mr. Wilks discovered that one sandwich was missing, as there was only one in the bag. Infuriated that all of his food was not accounted for, Mr. Wilks approached the McDonalds manager, Mr. Sheppard, and shot him in the arm at point blank range.

Mr. Wilks then fled the scene and checked into an America’s Best Value Inn, where he was later apprehended by police.  He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The manager, Mr. Sheppard was later treated at a local hospital.  He has been working for McDonalds for more than 20 years.
