The Golden Arches is hoping to hire 50,000 full- and part-time employees across its US restaurants today. (It has about 1.7 million employees world-wide, according to its web site.) If successful, MCD can expect to have just as many new customers, or maybe even more if applications outrun openings. MCD says it’ll have hiring results next week.
