Louisiana rapper Eric ‘Vicious’ Johnson died of Stage 4 cancer earlier today, after months of unsuccessful treatment.
The rappers friends and associates took to social media to confirm Johnson’s death and express their condolences.
Vicious debuted on the Louisiana rap scene in 1994, producing radio singles like ‘I Ball Like Kobe,’ ‘Bottom Of The Boot’ and ‘Meet Me At The Circle K’ and landed a record deal with UGK Records out of Port Arther, TX.
At the time of his death, Johnson was incarcerated at the Allen Parish Correctional Center, on a rare “inciting a riot with a death” charge.
He was 51 years old.
