The Oakland rapper/filmmaker and self proclaimed “rap beast” first gained some local attention by filming music videos for Bay Area artists, most notably Lil B. It wasn’t long before she went into the booth herself to record the mixtape ‘Kittys X Choppas’ which spawned the local hit and video ‘Bumpin Bumpin.’ But it wasn’t until she released the video for “Gucci Gucci” did major labels start scrambling to sign her.
With a label deal now secured, Kreayshawn and her White Girl Mob crew (Kreayshawn, her sister V-Nasty and DJ Lil Debbie) are ready to take on the hip hop world. The only question is, is hip hop ready for them?
