The body of a jazz musician who had been missing since last week was found stuffed inside a trunk in his home.
Stanley Wright’s body was discovered by police on Tuesday morning at his home in Brooklyn, New York.
They went to his house after his son Khalid reported him missing.
Mr Wright, who performed under the name Suleiman Hakim Wright, was last seen on Friday when he went out to move his car closer to his home.
Police have yet to declare his death a homicide.
Mr Wright‘s great-niece Minnie Wright said: ‘This is crazy? Who would do something like that to him?
‘He was a musician. He was a great man.’
The trunk is an heirloom that has been in the family for years, relatives said.
