If there was any unanswered questions as to why Janet Hubert who played Will Smith’s ‘Aunt Vivian’ back on the classic sitcom ”Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” was absent in a recent reunion photo, she did a good job of explaining why.
In an interview with TMZ, Hubert stated: “There will never be a reunion as I will never do anything with an a–hole like Will Smith. “He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up.” This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word.”
Many fans of the show were left puzzled as to why Hubert was no longer on the show and was suddenly replaced mid-series in 1993.
Hubert has blamed Smith in the past for her departure claiming that she wouldn’t kiss his butt like everyone else.
Smith has slammed that accusation and blames Hubert’s attitude for her departure.
He once told an Atlanta radio station: “[Hubert] said once, ‘I’ve been in the business for 10 years and this snotty-nosed punk comes along and gets a show.’ No matter what, to her I’m just the AntiChrist.”
Will Smith has not issued any comments on the latest statements made by his former co-star.
