Florence Mass Shooting: 5 Dead, 3 Injured

FLORENCE, KY – In the early hours of Saturday, a tragic mass shooting occurred at a private residence on Ridgecrest Drive. At approximately 2:51 a.m., Florence Police Department officers responded to multiple calls reporting an active shooter.

Upon arrival, officers discovered seven individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Sadly, four victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The three remaining victims were transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where they are currently in critical but stable condition.

The suspect in the shooting is also deceased.

Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and the entire Florence community during this difficult time. The Florence Police Department is actively investigating the incident and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
