A Raleigh, North Carolina woman showed why females don’t do to fool with – Victoria Alexis Jones was home with her two small children the evening of January 13, 2012 when 40-year-old Lucio Miranda allegedly broke in. Jones ordered Miranda out, but he didn’t leave.
Jones defended her home and family by grabbing a wooden bed post. Miranda reportedly charged her and she grabbed the solid oak bed post and started beating Miranda with it. He tried to run out of the house, but she continued beating him until she struck him in the head, knocking him out cold.
Miranda was still on the scene when the police arrived. He was charged with first-degree burglary and possession of stolen goods. When it was all said and done, Miranda suffered from a head injury and a broken ankle.
