COMEDY 101: DannyRag

There isn’t a whole lot that hasn’t been done with respect to the art of standup comedy – until now.  DannyRag has cornered the market in that regard. Why else would he be dubbed “The Jay-Z” of standup comedy?

Born and raised in North Carolina, Daniel L. “DannyRag” Ragland is poised to become the next ascending gem of stage and screen. He’s been heralded as “the South’s best kept secret” and that description is accurate.

Diverse, multi-talented and driven, DannyRag has also added actor and radio host to his impressive resume.

He’s worked with recognized comedians, including Lav Luv, Nick Lewis, Pierre Edwards, and Arnesto, one of the funniest legends to ever grace the stage.

DannyRag has also collaborated with Double D, CoCo Brown, Goldie from Flava of Love, and Kevin Hart, currently one of the country’s preeminent comedic artists.

DannyRag has performed in New York, New York Comedy Club, Times Square Comedy Night, Ha Comedy Club in Manhattan, New York, and the Greensboro Comedy House, to name just a few venues. DannyRag hosts the D. Hart Comedy Show every Wednesday night in Durham, North Carolina.
