Investigators say a 4-year-old child killed in a
Muskogee home invasion late Tuesday evening was stabbed 36 times with a
pair of scissors.
The victim was identified as Dakota Lane of
Muskogee. His mother, Stephanie Lane, is an employee of Muskogee Public
Schools, according to Melanie Carey, public relations director for the
school district. Lane works in the cafeteria at Sadler Arts Academy in
Muskogee.
Authorities say Stephanie, who is eight months pregnant, tried to fend off the attacker.
Aaron Michael Laconsello, 18, was arrested about an hour and a half after the incident on the campus of Bacone College.
