13 Yr Old Lil Mouse Rapper From Chicago Has Gotten Over 300,000 Views On YouTube

Lil Mouse, the 13-year-old rapper from Chicago has gotten over 300,000 views on YouTube for his “Get Smoked” music video that he uploaded to the site in early July. Lil Wayne actually featured the song on his Dedication 4 mixtape. In the video he is seen holding stacks of money, throwing up his middle finger, and imitating the hand motion of holding a gun. The lyrics he spits are very explicit, and the content that he raps about is not something that people would normally expect to hear from a 13-year-old in a music video.

However his manager, Dough From Da Go, has said that there is much more to the the young rapper than can be judged from that one song. Many people were left wondering where the young spitter’s mother was during the video shoot, and even though the director of the video, P. Noble, claims she was on set, his manager could not confirm whether or not she was or wasn’t present.

Here’s what Dough From Da Go had to say about his young artist:

“He has stuff like that. It’s just one song. He does have other records. The music will speak for itself. He still has the mind frame of a kid. We are not going to follow in anyone’s footsteps though. We are going to break barriers.

“I’m not a part of the creative process. I don’t know if his mother was there or not but the whole neighborhood came out for the video. We didn’t know who those people were. We just spread the word and people came out. Whatever people came with, they came with but we didn’t ask for things.

“Chicago has more killing then Afghanistan so yeah people have guns, he doesn’t. It’s all about the message. Ice Cube was on the cover of Kill at Will holding a gun. He wasn’t promoting violence he was sending a message. Everyone is uptight. A lot of people have insecurities. At the end of the day [Lil Mouse] has loyal fans. They know it’s not like that. He plays baseball and is an honor roll student.”
