Woman Charged in Connection to Montgomery County Animal Cruelty Investigation

Conroe, TX — In a disturbing case of animal cruelty, a woman has been charged following an investigation by the Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office. On August 6, 2024, deputies and animal cruelty investigators executed a search warrant at a property on Chasewood Court, based on information regarding suspected animal abuse.

During the search, investigators uncovered evidence of animal remains on the property, leading to a forensic examination to determine the extent of the cruelty. Officials have confirmed that charges have been filed against the woman, whose identity has not yet been released, as the investigation remains active.

“The Montgomery County Constable’s Office is dedicated to investigating all reports of animal cruelty and ensuring justice for the animals involved,” said Chief Deputy David Eason. Additional charges may follow, depending on the outcome of the forensic examination.

Authorities continue to urge anyone with information related to this case to come forward and assist in the investigation.
