Why Are Some Late-Night Brawls Breaking Out at Waffle House?

Waffle House is one of the nation’s largest fast-food chains but the 24-hour eatery is also infamous for rowdy late-night crowds and all-out brawls. Halie Booth recently became an overnight sensation after deflecting a metal chair hurled at her by an angry customer. Booth says working the overnight shift at Waffle House can be hazardous. To see for ourselves, Inside Edition sent a team of producers to some of the busiest Waffle House locations in the country. In a statement, Waffle House says, in part, that most people have positive experiences in their restaurants, they care about their customers and employees and are continuously working to improve their safety procedures.
