Memphis police have issued an arrest warrant for, poplar local
rapper, “Yo Gotti”, in connection with a shooting that happened over the
Thanksgiving weekend.
The warrant stems from a shooting at Level Two night club back on November 29th.
Police
say an altercation broke out between Mario Mims, aka, Yo Gotti and
Lance Taylor, another local rapper who goes by the name of O.G. Boo
Dirty . They say a third person stepped in. Minutes later, shots were
fired.
Five people were shot, including a security guard. All
this, we’re told, happened in the parking lot. We caught up with Yo
Gotti’s attorney Sunday afternoon by phone.
According to the warrant, he’s wanted for aggravated riot.
An arrest warrant, we’re told, has also been issued for O.G. Boo Dirty.
The warrant are just two of several issued in connection with the shooting.
