UPDATE: Pine Bluff Police Identify Suspect in Tire Shop Forgery Cases

PINE BLUFF, AR — The Pine Bluff Detective Office has identified 38-year-old Sergio Douglas as the suspect responsible for two recent forgery incidents involving local businesses. Investigators allege Douglas forged checks totaling over $1,000 each at Roberts Brothers Tires on 1415 E. Harding Avenue and Midtown Tires at 400 W. 5th Avenue.

Douglas is described as a black male, standing 5’11” and weighing approximately 190 pounds. His last known residence is listed as #5 Oakridge Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas. The detective office has issued a warrant for his arrest on two counts of felony forgery.

Background Information:

The investigation began following two incidents in October. On October 11, Douglas allegedly forged a check at Roberts Brothers Tires, followed by a similar offense on October 15 at Midtown Tires. In both instances, the suspect was seen leaving the scene in a black Chevrolet Tahoe, model year 2015-2020, with tinted windows and no rear license plate.
