TV reporter and cameraman shot dead during live broadcast

The scene of sudden shock and horror was captured during a routine news story on WBDJ, a station in Roanake.

A gunman has reportedly shot and killed a TV reporter and her cameraman during a live news broadcast in the town of Moneta, Virginia. The CBS News crew was filming an interview when the broadcast was interrupted by the sound of gunfire. The reporter, Alison Parker, and cameraman, Adam Ward, died in the shooting, according to Parker’s mother, who spoke to CBS News. Police are hunting for the shooter, who was captured on the video and is a white man dressed all in black. Warning: There is a video of the attack, and it is graphic.
