Three Dead, Seven Injured in West Philadelphia Shooting

Philadelphia, PA — A tragic shooting early Sunday morning in West Philadelphia’s Carroll Park neighborhood left three people dead and seven others injured. The incident occurred during a large gathering on the 1200 block of North Alden Street, according to police reports.

Police responded to a call about gunshots shortly after 2 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a 33-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other men succumbed to their injuries after being transported to local hospitals.

In addition to the fatalities, seven individuals sustained injuries in the chaotic event. Several cars were also struck by gunfire, adding to the scene’s devastation.

Authorities believe multiple shooters were involved in the incident. A firearm was recovered at the scene, but investigators currently have limited information regarding the assailants. Homicide detectives are actively investigating the case.
