Tameka contended that the only reason the judge ruled in favor of her ex-husband was because Usher’s attorneys helped raise money for her re-election campaign back in 2008. But the judge presiding over the case insisted that the money raised was public knowledge before the trial began. Her allegations were dismissed because she failed to bring up this matter before she lost the case. Regardless of what she thought, Tameka was unable to secure a new custody trial.
She plans to appeal the most current ruling in her continued fight for Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Raymond. Though she’s obviously going through her own struggles, Tameka took the time to acknowledge actress Kelly Rutherford’s situation since she’s going through a similar struggle. “Prayers for your victory, I feel your pain. Trust me,” Tameka tweeted.
Usher has kept relatively quiet, but he did open up about the ongoing ordeal in a recent sit down with Oprah Winfrey for her show “Oprah’s Next Chapter”. That taping will air on September 16th.
