Sissy Jones – Founder, Sissy’s Log Cabin

Sissy Jones is a trailblazing entrepreneur and the founder of Sissy’s Log Cabin, one of the Mid-South’s most esteemed fine jewelry retailers. A native of Gillett, Arkansas, Sissy’s passion for antiques and estate jewelry led her to establish what would become an iconic brand, built on a foundation of quality, trust, and family values.

Her journey began in 1970 when she rented a small log cabin along U.S. Highway 79 in Pine Bluff for just $50 a month. With a keen eye for fine jewelry and antiques, she quickly built a reputation for exceptional service and expertise. Through her determination and vision, Sissy expanded her business beyond its modest beginnings, growing Sissy’s Log Cabin into Arkansas’ largest independently owned jewelry store. Today, the company features over 14,000 square feet of showroom space and serves customers across five locations in Pine Bluff, Little Rock, Jonesboro, Conway, and Memphis.

Now under the leadership of her son, Bill Jones, Sissy’s Log Cabin continues to uphold the family legacy, offering a curated selection of fine jewelry, diamonds, estate pieces, and luxury gifts. Despite its expansion, the company remains rooted in its founding philosophy—treating every customer like family.

Beyond business success, the Sissy’s Log Cabin family has remained dedicated to giving back to the Pine Bluff community, including generous contributions to First Ward Living Grace Pantry and other local initiatives. Their ongoing support has made a lasting impact, reflecting the same values of care and commitment that have defined the company for more than five decades.

From a single log cabin to a thriving multi-location business, Sissy’s remarkable journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication, entrepreneurial spirit, and love for the community. Congratulations on your incredible success, and thank you for making Pine Bluff proud!
