A road rage incident led to the arrest of a Bradenton, Florida woman for allegedly assaulting two women with a razor outside a McDonald’s.
Sarasota County sheriff’s deputies arrested Regina R. Rainey, 20, of the 5600 block of 24th Street West in Bradenton, on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon Saturday.
Witnesses told deputies that Rainey was involved in a road rage incident at North Orange Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Sarasota. They said Rainey and her friends followed them to the parking lot of McDonald’s, 4301 N. Washington Blvd.
They claimed Rainey used a razor to slice one woman on the wrist and back and another on the face and back.
Deputies said both women were treated for lacerations but that they could not find a razor blade in the vicinity.
