“Peace-Love & Spaceships” the brand new single from Boome & The Skywalkers has big shoes to fill following their underground hit “Jimy H” short for Jimy Hendrix which charted #20 on The VidDisc Top 30 Urban Charts.
When asked how he feels about the success of the record speaking of “Jimy H”, he says, “Man we busted our butt to make sure somebody heard that record (laughing). We kind of risked it all. Me and Billy (Boome’s DJ) packed up the van and hit the road for thirty six days with no label backing, a lot of Dollar menus and never ending drives from Dallas to Arizona, California, New York, Atlanta, etc…you get the drift”.
So now they’re on to the next single “Peace Love & Spaceships” which is a more melodic tune than Jimy H.
What are his thoughts on the new single? “I love it man, if the Beatles were rappers they probably would of came up with this song. It makes me smile It is the soundtrack to active dreamers and it’s different. The production is from Brazil. I call it my breakfast song because it motivates me to get up and do it. The chorus says it all “Peace Love & Spaceships, Chasing my dreams I will make it.”
