Redbone Shawty’s Money Mondays– Tami Roman covers Rolling Out Magazine

We all remember Tami Roman from MTV’s the ‘Real World’. Tami was the East Coast fire cracker who told it like it was. Years later, she’s still spicy. Her introduction to the cast of VH1’s ‘Basketball Wives’ has most definitely made the show a little more… interesting. She’s presented herself as no one to play with going head to head with almost every other cast mate on the show.

Rolling Out Magazine features Ms. Roman, wherein she discusses finance woes and her new book. One of the first facts presented on BBW about Tami was the fact that after her divorce from NBA player, Kenny Anderson, she found herself on welfare. Foodstamps became the topic of conversation between the ladies, and it was questioned whether or not Ms. Roman ‘fit in’ with the rest of the ladies on the show.

When asked about her newfound success, Tami confides, ‘God made me appreciate the small things […] my daughters […] a roof over my head. He really brought me back to a place of love […] I appreciate everything that has come my way and I’m trying to give back.’

Can’t wait to read the book… Get money Ms. Tami!
