Rapper Sued $15K Over Dog Death

Rick Ross raps of “a chopper in the car” in Lil Wayne’s ‘John,’ but it seems like he’s let his dogs do the dirty work as of late.

The Miami rhymer has been named in a lawsuit, according to TMZ, after three of his pitbulls escaped from his Atlanta mansion in April, killing a 3-year-old Yorkshire Terrier.

Banks, the pup who met his untimely death, was named in the suit as the victim of a brutal attack by the ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ creator’s canines. The injured dog’s owner, referred to as Maria in the court documents, claims that Ross, named as William L. Roberts II in the suit, allowed his three pets to enter her property and ferociously attack her Yorkie.

In the documents obtained by TMZ, the Yorkshire Terrier received “three large bite wounds on his back” and a “very large bite wound” around his neck.

Banks’ owner moved forward with a lawsuit despite Rick Ross being previously cited for the incident. She is asking for $15,000 in damages and court costs.
