Prince Suing Collection Agency For Stealing His Money

Famed singer Prince recently gave a collection agency a taste of their own medicine. He filed a lawsuit against the collection agency to get back more than $100,000 they unjustly took from his bank account. According to the suit, Capital Asset Protection made a couple large withdrawals from Prince’s account in June to collect money for a lawsuit Prince had lost over a music production contract.

However, documents filed on Thursday suggest that a judge vacated his original judgment in October 2011, essentially erasing that debt Capital Asset Protection thought he owed.

Now Prince is suing the company for the $116,228 that he lost to them, plus interest.
