Lewisville police said they still have not found any sign of a 27-year-old woman who went missing there three days ago, despite following up on several leads overnight and into Friday.
Florence McCauley disappeared Tuesday morning, last seen leaving her cousin’s Lewisville apartment at 160 East Vista Ridge Mall Drive.
Police said she texted her cousin, saying she was tired and planning to stop for an energy drink before a scheduled exam in Dallas.
Lewisville police detectives said their suspicions are raised because McCauley never showed for her final exam at the Dallas Institute Funeral Services as planned. According to family and friends, that’s not typical of McCauley, who they said, has a history of being responsible.
Police said, for now, they are treating her disappearance as an enhanced missing persons case. They have found no signs of foul play.
Police have not ruled out the possibility McCauley disappeared by choice due to circumstances not yet known.
Anyone with information about McCauley is encouraged to call Lewisville police. She was last seen Tuesday driving a 2007 black Nissan Altima with Texas driver’s license 981-VFN.
Police said McCauley just moved to Lewisville within the last couple of weeks.
