PINE BLUFF, AR — A Pine Bluff man wants the driver who struck him and left him suffering miserably to come forward.
Patrick Laws was riding on his moped back on Oct. 29, when witnesses say the driver of a silver car collided with him on Hickory and West 25th Streets, then drove away.
Laws was in a coma for more than three weeks, and is recovering from broken bones and a fractured lung.
His mouth is wired shut so he has to communicate using a trachea.
“One part of me is mad. Another part of me just wants some justice. That could have been my kid riding that or somebody else and they just left me for dead,” Laws says.
Police have not gotten any leads on this case, only that they are looking for a silver-colored car.
