Next time your child orders a smoothie at a restaurant that serves alcohol, it might be a good idea to taste the drink to make sure it’s virgin. An Olive Garden recently had an alcohol-related mishap, serving a rum cocktail to a 10-year-old child.
A 10-year-old boy made it halfway through a rum cocktail at an Indianapolis Olive Garden before anyone realized that he was not in fact slurping down a berry smoothie. The boy’s mother had ordered him a Wildberry Frullato, a kid’s smoothie drink. But the waitress mixed up the order and brought him a four-ounce rum drink instead, despite the fact that no adults at the table had ordered alcohol.
