A 27-year-old Canton woman has been arrested in Ohio for allegedly killing a cat and consuming it in front of witnesses. Allexis Telia Ferrell is facing multiple charges, including animal cruelty and disorderly conduct, according to Stark County court records.
Authorities report that Ferrell killed the cat by stomping on its head before eating it in a residential area on 13th Street SE. The incident occurred at a housing complex and was witnessed by several individuals.
Ferrell was taken into custody on August 16 at around 11 p.m. Her initial bond was set at $100,000 during her arraignment on Monday. She is scheduled to appear in court again on August 26.
