Bio: Ashley Mar Shell bombarded the entertainment industry only two eventful years ago with the release of her debut EP entitled “Not That Girl,” a proclamation for survivors of abusive relationships. North Carolina born and bred her southern hospitality intrigues, while her music seals the deal. Forcefully tackling the entertainment scene from all angles including music, acting, and event hosting, fans loyally rallied behind the singing bombshell and soon dubbed her Ashley “Star” Shell, in light of her indisputable star power. Crowned the 2012 Carolina Music R&B artist of the year, she did not stop there but brought home the award for best video at the 2013 Carolina Music Awards. Successfully dropping hit after hit, everything she touches turns to gold, a phenomenon known as the “Star Shell” effect, which often leaves those who cross her path “Star Shell Struck”
