Missouri City Police Investigating Disappearance of 61-Year-Old Karen Miles

Missouri City, TX – Authorities are searching for clues in the mysterious disappearance of 61-year-old Karen Miles, who was last seen on August 21 but wasn’t reported missing until eight days later, on August 29. Friends and family are growing increasingly concerned after a man was reportedly found driving her car, which had stolen Arkansas license plates.

Miles, an active member of her community and involved in several organizations, was last seen near the Beltway and Highway 90. Her friend, Danessa Bolling, described her as a “worker bee” who constantly volunteered, adding that her absence went unnoticed initially because her children live out of town. Bolling expressed her concern, saying, “(She) is light, and so, this feels dark because we don’t know where she is.”

Patricia Evans, Miles’ eldest sister, is struggling with the uncertainty, stating, “I am already accepting that she is gone, and I am trying to deal with that.”

Missouri City police are working to identify Davante Clark, who was captured on a Flock camera driving Miles’ car with stolen plates. The investigation remains ongoing as loved ones hope for her safe return. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
