A picture circulated on twitter allegedly from the McDonald’s Corporation stating “As an insurance measure due in part to a recent string of robberies, African-American customers are now required to pay an additional fee of $1.50 per transaction.” The McDonald’s Corporation‘s twitter issued a statement claiming that the picture is a “senseless and ignorant hoax…” McDonald’s says they value all their customers, “Diversity runs deep in our culture on both sides of the counter.”
