An infant was hospitalized with a broken femur and head injuries after being severely abused by a 22-year-old man, police say.
Marquis Jomele Miller of 3136 Strong Box Lane, Gastonia, was charged with intentional child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury on Wednesday.
Miller threw the 2-month-old against the head board of a bed twice, causing head injuries, according to a warrant affidavit.
He also allegedly jerked the infant’s leg causing it to break.
