Man Shot At Speedway Gas Station On Camden Road

A constable in Jefferson County was shot and killed Wednesday night at the Speedway station on Hwy 79 and I-530 in Pine Bluff. Shots were fired after the constable, Tommy Holcomb, Sr., approached the suspects’ car. It is believed that the altercation was started due to road rage.

Shots were fired that hit the constable and one of the suspects, who was taken to the ER. The second suspect fled the scene, but was later taken into custody for questioning.
