Wow …. where do we start with this one? Lafayette, Louisiana police arrested 28-year old mental giant, Nathan Sonnier, and charged him with armed robbery.
Sonnier allegedly held up the Circle K convenience store in the 600 block of Kaliste Saloom Road, but had to flee on foot with the cash, a drink and pack of cigarettes stolen in the robbery (he aims really high, folks – we’re surprised he didn’t need help carrying all that out the store …).
The best part of the whole story is that Sonnier fled on foot because – get this – he got back to the parking lot only to discover that he’d locked his keys in the car. He called his mama to come pick him up and while waiting for her in a nearby hotel parking lot, he was nabbed by police.
Sonnier was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on armed robbery charges.
