MAN FOUND TIED UP, DEAD INSIDE STORAGE FACILITY

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police say a man in his 60s was found tied up and dead inside a storage facility in Southwest Philadelphia.

The discovery was made shortly after 3:00 Sunday afternoon at Lock Room Self Storage in the 2200 block of 62nd Street.

Authorities say the 67-year-old man was found bound and tied up with facial injuries inside a conversion van at the facility.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. No word on his identity.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
