Man Finds $45K in New House and Returns it

New homeowner Josh Ferrin, just closed on a home in Bountiful, Utah, where he stumbled across a large sum of money in an ammunition box in the attic, left there by previous owner Arnold Bangerter, who passed in November 2010. $45,000 to be exact. Bangerter’s children weren’t surprised about the find and said that their father had grown up in hard times and that it was not uncommon for him to have money around the house. Ferrin told the Utah paper, ‘Deseret News’ “You can’t make plans for money like this that’s found in a situation like this, it just doesn’t feel right to do anything but give it back.” Some of the money found dated all the way back to the 1970s and 80s.

Ferrin is one heck of a good Samaritan, what would you have done if you found $45,000?
