The Louisiana State Police is investigating a case of sexual abuse of an animal in Metairie, Louisiana.
According to Louisiana State Police spokeswoman Melissa Matey, their investigation began when detectives received information that 21-year old Blake T. Sanderford had allegedly sexually abused a dog and videotaped the acts and posted them to the internet.
During execution of the search warrant, Matey says detectives found computer evidence of Sanderford engaged in sexual activity with the dog. Computers were seized and additional forensic examination is reportedly being conducted.
The Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter has taken custody of the dog.Matey says Sanderford was arrested and charged with Crimes Against Nature and Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, and booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
